A standalone matrix amplifier that scales to a networked multi-zone system.

The Nice EL-IPD-MTX-8CH amplifier can be used in standalone mode to support up to 13 input sources (4 digital, 8 mono / 4 stereo analog RCA, and 1 stereo 3.5mm doorbell input from a Nice System Controller). Eight speaker channels provide up to 4 stereo or 8 mono zones, and four line-level outputs configure as up to 4 mono or 2 stereo zones or subwoofer out. The MTX-8CH replaces the S86A.

Expansion and DSP

Expandable with additional chassis and the optional EL-IPD-NAC-EXT Dante network audio card

Adding the optional Dante card connects sources to and from other Dante-enabled Nice IP amplifiers, scaling to projects of up to 64 individual zones.
